In the work "Tightrope walking on the wheel," viewers lift a rope that is hung between trees, causing the wheel to move back and forth. The rope is stretched between the trees to represent the relationship between the two countries, and the bicycle wheels that go back and forth on it are painted in the red and white colors of the Japanese and Indonesian flags. The wheel is a participatory work in which viewers move by lifting one side of the rope, making it possible to experience and enjoy the work rather than just visually. This was done with the intention of making the exhibition a collaborative effort not only with viewers, but also with those who had been involved in the work up until that point.
