<comment> The adverse effects of climate change are becoming more
serious. In particular, frequent floods, wildfires, and droughts
in many regions are causing crops to wither and die, and in many
cases, the excess or lack of water has led to major disasters.
The theme of this work is this water problem. On the walls,
various familiar objects such as wood, stones, fluorescent tubes
(light), children's toys, and drawn home appliances were
arranged and connected by tubes to create a water circulation
system, expressing that everything is related to water. In the
center of the exhibition space, a sphere made of PET bottles
connected by tubes was placed. The sphere was made to resemble
the earth, simulating water circulating in the earth. During the
exhibition period, sewage water was mixed into the sphere,
discoloring the entire work, which was then restored with a
cleaning agent.
The human pursuit of convenience has led to global warming,
which in turn has led to various abnormal weather conditions. If
this is the case, we cannot just stand by and blame nature alone
for whether water is a blessing or a threat.
